Choice for Parents

This document is HM Treasury’s ten-year strategy to improve the choice, availability and quality of childcare for children up to the age of 14.

It outlines the changes that will be made to the tax and benefit systems for parents, the availability and affordability of childcare, and how the Government intends to support improvement in the quality of these services.

As NAPTA members, you will feel the impact of this document in your schools, since it represents the driving force behind initiatives such as Extended Schools and Every Child Matters.
