Children’s Workforce Strategy

This document identifies key areas that must be addressed if the children’s workforce is to provide the most effective service possible. The report recommends four key areas:

• recruitment of staff
• retention of staff
• strengthening inter-agency work and multidisciplinary working
• promoting stronger leadership, management and supervision.
